With the first Catholic mass held in the growing community of Havre in 1887 in the Great Northern Section House, this Spanish Mission style structure has been welcoming generations of Havre's citizens along with traveling pilgrims of the Catholic faith since 1925. Until formal structures were constructed, or reconstructed after unfortunate events such as fires, many masses were held in numerous Havre notables, to include Simon Pepin and Joseph Gussenhoven.
