Hiking up to the falls is utter bliss. The mountains verdant with fir and pines fill the air with crisp air as the mist for the water fall kisses your face after making the 98 foot leap from top of the wall. Rated as an easy hike, from the trailhead at the parking lot is a paved path winding through the Douglas firs and Englemann spruce with the occasional aspen grove a little more than half a mile to the base of the falls.
