One of the many hotspots for local Bozemanites to escape to for the weekend and what I also would describe paradise to be. After making that final bend on the Hyalite Canyon road unto the lake view, I came upon a city of tents and camper trailers staked out for the last hours of the weekend. Rising from the campground area was a welcoming smell of woodfire smoke and savory camp-fire cooking! Below this transient metropolis was the launching pad for the water activities varying from a few sail boats and fishing canoes to paddle boards and inner tubers taking in some summer sun under the cloudless sky. Needless to say, I was glad to be back in the Big Sky State!
